Spellbinders December 2021 Club Kits

It's time to play with the Spellbinders kits for December 2021! I have the APG, Glimmer, and Clear Stamp and Die kits of the month.

For all the process stuff, check out this video! It is a long one, so grab a beverage and get comfy. I kmow I love to chill watching a crafting video, and I bet you do, too.

Clearly, I was in a watercolor mood! I made a pocket card, a 5x7 card, and a slimline card for this session.

The pocket card will hold a cocoa packet, tea packet, and a gift card. Perfect for small gifts to all those you want to give a little something to.

I have loads of still photos here for those that just want a good look at the projects.
Enjoy!

I hope these were inspiring! If you are interested in the supplies I used, scroll down just a little further. There is a clickable supply list. Most of these are affiliate links, and if you purchase something in the shops after clicking on my links, I may earn a small commission, which I would be ever so grateful about!

Until next time, buh-bye!

Spellbinders November Club Kits

Time to play with the Spellbinders November 2021 APG, Clear Stamp and Die, and Glimmer of the Month kits, and it is all about Christmas!

Here is the video with all the details! Below you will find still photos and the supply list. Happy Crafting!

The APG kit this month is another Pop Up 3D Vignette called Christmas Tree. I combined it with the Glimmer kit to create a tag.

Lots of fun elements that work for cards, tags, and whatever else you papercraft.

The Glimmer of the Month is called Curved Christmas Borders, and I love it!

All of these fun designs, and only one  sentiment and one of the borders is specific to Christmas, so you can use it all year long.

Plus, if you got the April 2021 kits, the Clear Stamp, Large Die, and Glimmer kits coordinate with this month also! I will have links below to those kits, if they are available, also!

I had to finish the inside of the card with a glimmered sentiment from the Gifts of Christmas Sentiments set, and you are getting a sneak peek of the Fluted Classics dies that come out later this month!

Now it is the Clear Stamp kit's turn to play. I created some fun heat embossed and inked backgrounds with the stamps. Then pulled out the new Be Bold Block Merry Christmas dies to make this slimline card.

Check out the subtle snowflakes and the bold ornaments!

I even used some of the leftover cardstock to foil these sentiments from Mini Christmas Sentiments Strips (which is available as a hot foil plate set and as a stamp set with sentiment strip die).

The deadline for signing up for the November kits is November 24, 2021. After that, you can wait until the 20th of the following month to see if there are any left- but the kit subscription is a much better price! In fact, if you love more than one of the kits, the Value Club prices (my fav is the Total Package- all 7 kits for $100 US) are even better than the individual kit prices.

I decided to play with the APG and the Clear Stamp of the Month and create this cottage card.

Cottages and gardens, soft and flowy dresses, and all things relaxed and slow are really gaining popularity. I understand the appeal!

I used several components of the Pop Up Vignette Home Sweet Home APG of the Month kit to build the cottage, including these pretty little layered flowers.

The background is the large floral cluster from the Sending Floral Wishes clear stamp of the month, stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with a embossing powder blend I created by mixing gold, silver, and copper embossing powders in a small container. I really like how that turned out!

I also did some Distress Oxide ink blending on the background with Antique Linen and Tea Dye inks.

Look at that little door knob! Several of the small detail pieces are combined on a single die. I really appreciate that, as I am far less likely to lose them this way!

In this photo, you can see the brick detail embossed on the cottage- this is from a single die that can be placed anywhere on a die cut image.

I also pulled in one of my favorite 5x7" (A7) layering dies: Wistful Windows, to create this delicate frame.

Inside the card, I stamped thte floral cluster in Antique Linen, then added a heat embossed sentiment die cutt with a circle die from last months' Large Die of the Month kit, Colorblock Circles and Stripes.

So, are you ready to make some cottage cards?! Tell me in the comments below what kind of cottage you dream of! Log cabin, brick, stucco, cedar shingle? Ivy covered, rustic, clean and modern? Or more of a beach vibe?

If you are interested in any of the stuff I used today, check the supply list below,

Making a Fancy Die Whimsical

Spellbinders has a new release of some gorgeous and versatile die sets designed by Becca Feeken. And my favorite part, they work perfectly for 5x7 (A7) cards!

I used 4 of these die sets with the June 2021  Card of the Month Kit from Spellbinders to create 4 cards- along with a brief release and review of the Beautiful Sentiment Vignette Collection.

This is card #1 using the Forever in our Hearts Vignette die set, and I love that the die looks like a cloche that would hold fancy and delicious pastries.

The ephemera, stamp set, and dies from the June 2021 Card of the Month Kit (Wild Hello) have a roll to play on all of these  cards!

You can see the fun ink blending and spatters with Scattered Straw, Kitsch Flamingo, and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxides.

And it is raining gems  for some sparkly confetti.

Sentiment and ephemera are added to the inside of the card along with more spatters.

Card #2  is not my favorite, as I did not get the colors quite right in the  frame and blending, but we are going to go with it anyway.

The frame is from the Heartfelt Thanks Vignette die set, and this one would work on an A2 sized card also.

The ephemera makes a fun grouping.

And who doesn't love a shaker?!

Card #3- this card could be a birthday or a baby card! Full of whimsy and fun!

This is  using the Birthday Wishes Vignette die set, and I love it!

I added a trail of gems along one side, and clustered around a grouping of critters.

I added a couple more party animals to the inside of the card, which was super easy with all of the ephemera from  the kit!

Card #4- last but not least, the Romantic Chargeour die set played a starring roll in this bright, tropical vibe card. Anyone else feeling a little Miami here?

The sentiment die is from the card kit, and it is a real winner!

And the gems add just the right touch to create balance to the design. And shiny. We need all the shiny!

Inside the card, I went a little crazy with a bunch more ephemera. I used lots of ephemera on each card, and I still have gobs!

Well, did you see the dies in a new light? Are you ready to use them to spice up your whimsical cards? I know I am!

Play With Your Leafy Greens

I explore the Nuvo Shimmer Powders with a couple techniques, and play with the Slimline Foliage Frame die!

I play with a variety of slimline products to create these fresh and fun cards with Trinity Stamps products.

Watch all the creative magic on this video. Really. No joke!

I am posting all the still photos here, and a list of the products used at the end.

Let me know which of these you like better, the more simple card, or the all out and over the top card?
