Inky Friends 2017 In Color Blog Hop: Tranquil Tide
Hello friends! The Inky Friends, formerly known as the Stampin' Addicts, we have reincarnated ourselves as the Inky Friends! And we are going to share a bunch of ideas with the new 2017-18 In Colors!
This hop goes in a circle linking to each blog along the way. But if you get lost, or just want to see the complete blog roll, you can click on the banner at the top of this post, or click here.
If you are hopping along in order, you just arrived from Sarah Wills' blog where she featured Powder Pink!

Patterns and Pieces by Stampin' Up! is used to create this adorable dinosaur ghosted background with Tranquil Tide, Emerald Envy, and Lemon Lime Twist. Happy Birthday! Do you need a demonstrator? Click on the photo to find me!

I am using the new-again Glossy Cardstock to create this ghosted background in Tranquil Tide, Emerald Envy, and Lemon Lime Twist. It is such a quick and easy technique, you really should try it! I did a video about ghosting a while back that walks you through it.
To color the sentiment, I used a blender pen and ink squeezed onto the lid of each inkpad. And it is the Thick Whisper White cardstock, so it can take a little moisture without pilling.

I actually have two videos using the ghosting technique, I love it that much! Be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel so you don't miss any of my videos :)

Patterns and Pieces by Stampin' Up! makes quick work of this card with Dapper Denim, Tranquil Tide, and Lemon Lime Twist ink! Great masculine colors! Do you need a demonstrator? Click on the photo to find me!

This time I used Dapper Denim, Tranquil Tide, and Lemon Lime Twist. It has a very masculine feel to me, yet still bright and cheerful. The big circle sentiment stamp made this a fast card to make!

So Many Shells from Stampin' Up! pairs beautifully with the jwatercolor wash background made using Tranquil Tide, Pool Party, and Crumb Cake ink. And the Copper embossing powder just pops! Do you need a demonstrator? Click on the photo to find me!

I have been looking for an excuse to use the So Many Shells set, and why not to highlight the changeable nature of this ink! This is Tranquil Tide, Pool Party, and Crumb Cake washes on watercolor paper. The shells were stamped on Thick Whisper White and then fussy cut. I think fussy cutting is growing on me! 😅

The Shimmering Water technique using Tranquil Tides and Crushed Curry inks from Stampin' Up! Totally looks like a sea turtle to me! Do you need a demonstrator? Click on the photo to find me!

This last color combo is Tranquil Tides with Crushed Curry using the Shimmering Water technique. There is another video showing how it is done here: Shimmering Water Technique.

That's it for me! If you started at the beginning of the blog roll, then I am the last stop, and I hope you found lots of inspiration along the way. If you started somewhere in the middle, be sure to keep clicking-you don't want to miss any of the fun! Yapha Mason is the first stop on the hop, and she is featuring Berry Burst!
