Sale-A-Bration time is here, and my Inky Friends and I want to share some fun ideas for all the free goodies you can earn between January 3-March 31 this year. Stampin' Up! has quite the wonderful selection for us, and I can't wait to play with them ALL!
If Sale-A-Bration is a new concept for you, let me explain a little bit. Once a year, Stampin' Up! has a period of time that you can earn extra free product with every $50 US that you spent on product. This year, there are bigger and better offerings for each $100 US in product! Check out this year's selections here!
If you are following along in order, you just arrived from Rhonda Griffin's blog where she used Lots of Lavender. How beautiful, right?!
Well, I decided to use the slightly grungy and funky stamp set, Epic Celebrations. You all know how much I like to do masculine stuff, surrounded by the manly type as I am 😄
Then, Stampin' Up! announced that the paper ribbon would be pulled from the Occasions catalog due to problems with the manufacturer in China... sad, but a very responsible action from SU. I am sure you can think of a dozen other ways to embellish this though!
I have found that taping the paper down to a board eliminates any warping you would get from the water.
The color combo here is Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, and Berry Burst.
I stamped the images in the sames inks to continue the gradient effect. And the Eastern Medallions dies had to come out to play 😍
There is also some coloring with Blends in Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, and Smoky Slate. And yes, I fussy cut all of those images. And I didn't hate it!! I think fussy cutting is growing on me. Which should be good for my wallet 😆
Do you love the Silver Shimmer Embossing Paste? It is gorgeous in real life. And I love me a good stencil! Pattern Party masks really fill that need.
This guitar is colored with Blends again, Pink Pirouette, Rich Razzleberry, and Smoky Slake this time. I used the same color combo for blending on this one as the other pink card in this post.
OK, now it is time to head over to Yapha Mason's blog. She is working with Bubbles and Fizz DSP!
