Quilted Owl

Owl time again! Forest Friends has to be one of my all time favorite stamp sets. These little critters are just so darn cute :) This is a card I made for a swap that Chipper hosted and I just got all my swaps back in the mail the other day, so I guess it's safe to post this now ;)

You may have noticed that I have been doing a lot of Reverse Faux Letterpress technique lately. Well, once I started again, I couldn't stop! I have always loves this technique, but as we all know, we go through phases.
This little card is almost masculine, if it weren't for the scallops and curvy edges on the Designer Label punch.  And as always with wood mount stamps, stamp your image first, then punch it out :)
  • Stamps: Forest Friends
  • Paper: Crumb Cake, Peach Parfait, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, Naturals White
  • Ink: Peach Parfait, Early Espresso
  • Other: Big Shot with Perfect Details texture plate, Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack, Designer Label punch, Large Oval punch, Scallop Oval punch, Pearls Basic Jewels

Isn't he ca-ute!! I will use my left overs to give to my customers in their bags of goodies :)
Until next time, Happy Stampin!

  3. What an adorable card! You're going to make me pullout the texture plates, aren't you. You're just not giving up, and each project is cuter than the last!
