Easter is fast approaching! I know that my next weekend off will be very busy, and I am getting in the mood for some family time. I had to pull this set out and give it a little more love before the season passes :)
I embossed the cross in gold embossing powder, then colored the leaves and flowers with my markers. If you look closely, you will see that the flowers are yellow with the tips of the petals colored orange. The center Peach Parfait panel is dry embossed with the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder. The card base is stamped with the cross and the phrase from the stamp set. The "happy easter" is from the A Good Egg set.
Inside is matted a little differently than I normally do. I had to mix it up a little :) And I guess I am stuck on outlining stuff lately! I wonder what my next quirk will be ;)
- Stamps: A Good Egg, Crosses of Hope
- Paper: Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Soft Suede, Naturals White
- Ink: Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Soft Suede, Versamark, Pear Pizzazz
- Other: Embossing Buddy, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Big Shot with Elegant Bouquet embossing Folder, Dotted Ribbon border punch, Itty Bitty Shapes punch, Modern Label punch, Word Window punch, Pearls Basic Jewels, Stampin Dimensionals
I happen to like this quirk and have already started "borrowing" it!
