Stamp Review Crew: Beautiful You

https://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2017/09/merry-cafe.html
Welcome to October! Seriously, where did September go?! 2017 is going by in a flash for me, how about you?
Well, the Stamp Review Crew is featuring a stamp set that is good to use all year long! Beautiful You debuted in the Occasions Mini this year, and entered with quite a bang. But we haven't seen it use much since then. Time to bring back into the spotlight. And what better time than October, with Breast Cancer Awareness month at hand!

For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want! And you can click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also.

If you are following along in order, you just arrived from Heidi Bak's blog. She is so inspiring!

Layers of pink watercoloring create a lovely background for this dancing lady from Stampin' Up! 's Beautiful You stamp set. It is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and this card is in honor of that. Tanya Boser for the Stamp Review Crew
Here we have a study in pink! Berry Burst, Flirty Flamingo, and Powder Pink create a lovely wash of pink for this lady to dance through. And since this is watercolor paper, I used my MISTI to stamp the image and sentiment 2-3 times each to achieve this crisp and solid inking over the wash.

Then I thought I would create a crowd of fashionable ladies in some bright colors. I think I unintentionally CASEd myself again! I did a similar card with Colorful Seasons with the beach chair. 😂
Did you notice that one of the scribble images is actually shaped to cover this dress? Awesome, right!

A quick peek inside. This was a very easy and fun card to put together.

OK, enough from me. It is time to hop over the Charlet Mallett's blog, and she is sure to blow you away with her talent!
