Scrapbook Sunday Debut!

Welcome to the very first Scrapbook Sunday blog hop! We are a group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators, and we will be doing a scrapbooking blog hop every third Monday of the month. I know a lot of us make cards now, but scrapbooking is what got me into papercrafting.  So, here we go!

If you are following along in order, you just arrived from Pam Staples blog. She is the designer of the sketch this hop!

Sketch for the very first Scrapbook Sunday blog hop. Come back every third Sunday of the month! ~Tanya Boser
And here is the sketch! Doesn't it look fun?

Embossing Paste, Pattern Party mask, Pretty Pines and Seasonal Layers thinlits, with Brushwork Alpha stamp set- all from Stampin' Up! This is the first Scrapbooking Sunday blog hop!~Tanya Boser
This is NOT the page I started out making. I had printed out a bunch of pictures of the grandkids from this summer that I was going to start scrapping. Then I picked up an envelope of photos that I had printed a few years ago, and found several pictures of my kids that I adore!

This is my daughter, Charlene. And these are from her 11-day hiking trip with her Senior Class on the Superior Trail. She was going to a charter school, and this is the trip all of the seniors got to go on every year. My daughter is very "granola", so this was right up her alley!

I started with a Crumb Cake 12x12 cardstock. Embossing Paste with the diamonds mask from the Pattern Party mask set created the textured background.

Pretty Pines and Seasonal Layers thinlits created the die cut leaves, pine cones, and pine boughs.

The title was created using the Brushwork Alphabet stamp set with Early Espresso ink.

Have you ever been on a long hiking trip? What are your favorite places to go?

Other than to the next blog, that is!
