Stamp Review Crew: Waterfront

https://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2018/06/beautiful-bouquet.html
Welcome to my favorite time of the year!! I adore autumn. But, all I can think of right now with this stamp set is all things tropical! Maybe I am not really ready for summer to be over quite yet after all, lol.

What is the Stamp Review Crew, you ask? We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together to do a blog hop on the first and third (and sometimes on a fifth) Monday of each month. For each hop we chose a single stamp set for us all to use, and then we let our creativity loose! We have a blog with all of the hops archived, so you can hop through any of the hops any time. Click here to go to the blog to see all of the hops! To go to the specific post for this hop, click here, or on the banner above.

If you are following along in order, then you have just arrived from Linda Callahan's blog.

I did a grid of sponged Gray Granite here, just using the edge of some scrap paper. Then I filled the grid with little beach cabanas or cabins.

The sentiment is Copper heat embossed on vellum, and stitched it onto the panel.

We love coffee mugs here, and tend to get one from wherever we go. I just had to make a tropical one. The backgroun was sponged in Mango Melody and Poppy Parade, spritzed with water, and heat set.

The doily behind the cup is vellum cut with and Eastern Medallion dies. The Coffee Cup dies helped create the cup shape so quickly!

That is all I have for you this time. I sure had fun!

Next up is Mike Funke. He always surprises me with his awesome ideas!
