I am back with more fun using the Holiday Wood Blocks die set! This time, there is stenciling and layering going on.
You can watch me create this card here.
I started this 5x7" card by creating the stenciled background using the Slimline Stripes stencil and Dusty Concord Distress Oxide. Then shifted the stencil and applied some shimmer ink. I should have reapplied the Pixie spray to get crisper shimmery stripes, but I still like how this turned out.
Behind the sentiment, on the Hemstitch die cut panel, I used the Holly Berry Turnabout from Concord and 9th. The die cut sentiment is from the Holiday Wood Blocks die set (gorgeous! and sent to me by Spellbinders to create and share with you!). I cut Noel from silver and purple and a coaster black, then cut the bauble off the silver layer, and glued them all together.
The secondary sentiment in Glimmer Hot Foiled with the Shimmering Christmas Sentiments hot foil plate set in Pewter and die cut with the banner die in the hot foil set.
Lot's of details, but pretty easy. What do you think? Ready to play with this die set yourself?
