Spellbinders Holiday Wood Blocks Pattterned Paper and Poinsettias

I don't know about you, but I have a large stash of patterned paper, and  I have a hard  time using it. Partly because I enjoy creating my own  backgrounds, but also because I tend to hoard the pretty paper. Well, let's use a little up and make this fun and easy card!

ETA: Spellbinders is having a bonus sale this week, and is available until Sunday August 23, 2020. Click on the graphic above to start saving now!

You can watch me create this card on this video.

I started with that beautiful patterned paper, which is from a Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month from last fall, I link it below. There are gorgeous foil details on this paper.

Th Joy sentiment was simply die cut from some metallic cardstock and coaster blank, then adhered together.  And the poinsettias are from the Holiday Wood Block die set also. I just cut the dies from red and green  cardstock and adhere them together. The centers are Nuvo Crystal Drops in Copper Penny.

I used the same metallic cardstock with the square die from the Holiday Wood Blocks set to create a mat for the sentiment panel.
This was such a speedy card! Let me  know what you think of  this card  in the comment section below.
