I had some scraps form that Mambo Flowers page that I just had to use, so I made a fun birthday card :) I also just got the Word Play stamp set, love it!! I really should make a few of these and bring them to work. I have been doing very well selling my creations since about 2 weeks before Valentine's day!
I actually used a few leftovers on this card. The flower is a leftover Fun Flowers Faux Sueded piece. I did have to punch the Dotted Ribbon border though. I inked the sentiment with markers to get 2 colors on one stamp. A little Rhinestone to dot the I adds some extra special-ness :)
Inside I stamped some more flowers and leaves and the fun sentiment from Create a Cupcake. And a little sparkle here too!
- Stamps: Word Play, Apple Blossoms, Create a Cupcake
- Paper: Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Naturals Ivory, Ice Cream Parlor DSP
- Ink: Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Early Espresso
- Other: Big Shot with Fun Flowers die, 1¾" Circle punch, Dotted Ribbon border punch, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin' Dimensionals
Until next time, Happy Stampin!
Doesn't look like a "leftover pieces" card at all ;)
