Paper Crafters Sampler: Betrothed

"Our June Sampler is dedicated to all those lovely couples tying the knot.  "Betrothed" offers beautiful hand-stamped card ideas for the wedding couple, creative tablescapes and a special bridal tea ensemble."

 

 

 As you can see in this sneak peek of my project, I got my inspiration from a set of sweet tea cups that I found at my favorite vintage market :) My project is not the "special bridal tea ensemble" that Melanie mentions above, though.

Paper Crafters Sampler: Thrice in Design

It is the 10th of the month again, which means it is time for another issue of the Paper Crafters Sampler! Here is what our founder has to say about this month's issue:

"We've put together a fun yet challenging Sampler together for May.  This month offers three times more flair than the previous issue.

 

The request this month varied from holiday and seasonal issues we've had in the past.  Our May issue, "Thrice In Design", takes a whack at design projects with trio's, three's and third's in mind.  Each project simply had to contain "3" of something, be it images, layers or shapes.

 

Once again the design team pulled through and the creativity of each project shows. 

 

This month's template is also designed with the trio concept in mind; the Pocketed Triptych ."

Paper Crafters Sampler: Fabulous Florals

It is time for another issue of the Paper Crafters Sampler! Here is what Melanie has to say about this issue:

"Gardens are coming to life.  Budding trees and perennials will soon fill our homes with bursts of color and fragrance.  If your garden hasn’t awakened quite yet, try decorating with a few paper beauties.

The April issue of the Paper Crafter Sampler, “Fabulous Floral”, issue shares an array of ideas for beautifying your home with flowers until your outdoor garden is in full bloom.  All projects in this issue are focused around a floral theme.  You’ll find cheery and feminine crepe paper poppies, pop-up flower box cards and several lovely cards with flowers popping off the front.

This month’s template is a “Strawberry Pot”.  A little table top container for stuffing with faux strawberries or flowers."

This is a little taste of the project I designed for this issue. There several really WOW projects this time around!

Paper Crafters Sampler: Starburst Melange

Here is what Melanie, the brains behind the Paper Crafters Sampler, has to say about this month's issue!

"There are just a few more weeks of winter.  How about a few rays of faux sun beams to get you thinking of the warmer weather ahead?

Our February issue, Starburst Mélange, contains projects with beams radiating from a central point, similar to the sun.  The design team found this theme to be especially challenging, and yet each has come through with such varying designs.  Their projects will open your eyes to the possibilities of designing with starburst."

I do have to add a disclaimer here, spring is most definitely further away for me, lol! I am sure that we will have snow on the ground still in April, and if it is anything like last year, May isn't looking so good either! But we in the frozen tundra of Northern Minnesota take our rays of sun where and when we can find them :) And there are plenty in this issue!

Paper Crafters Sampler: Venetian Valentine

Time to release the 5th year of the Paper Crafters Sampler.  We start the first issue by preparing for the upcoming holiday, Valentine's Day.  We've made a few changes this time around by avoiding the most common color associated with Valentine's Day, red.

Inside the January issue, Venetian Valentine, you'll find soft and subdued colors, fancy flourishes, embossed surfaces and splashes of gold.  Tres le femme! The template of the month is the Fliptop Heart Trinket Box.
