Acorn Place Card

I made this place card a while ago always intending to make napkin rings to go with it, but that hasn't happened yet! It will though, this month, I promise. It is now sitting in plain view on my desk as a reminder to get it done.
Something about autumn makes me want to use lots and lots of Shimmer Paint. I really do love the stuff. It has a big impact on projects, and I mean that in the best of ways! So, this place card has 3 of my favorite things. Shimmer Paint, rhinestones, and the white gel pen :-)
  • Stamps: Day of Gratitude
  • Paper: Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Naturals Ivory
  • Ink: Cajun Craze, Soft Suede
  • Other: Big Shot with Table Settings die and Lots of Tags Sizzlet, Large Oval punch, Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint, Sponge Dauber, Rhinestine Basic Jewel, Signo white gel pen, Stampin' Dimensionals

The side view shows the popped up image a little better. So I better get cracking on the napkin rings! Maybe I'll make one of those little boxes for tea packets (or chocolate) for it too... But right now I need to head to bed!

Kewl! Love the acorn and the addition of shimmer spray (love that stuff, too!).

This project alone would (almost) make me buy that die! Charming!
