Welcome November!! Are you yearning to create some holiday season goodies? Well, the Stamp Review Crew is featuring the Farmhouse Christmas set this time, and it has loads of potential for both holiday and everyday occasions. There is an entire suite featuring this set, so hold on to your hat!
I don't know what I was most excited about, the stamps or the stitched shape dies!
What
is the Stamp Review Crew, you ask? We are an international group of
Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together to do a blog hop on the
first and third (and sometimes on a fifth) Monday of each month. For
each hop we chose a single stamp set for us all to use, and then we let
our creativity loose! We have a blog with all of the hops archived, so
you can hop through any of the hops any time. Click here to go to the blog to see all of the hops! To go to the specific post for this hop, click here, or on the banner above.
If you are following along in order, then you have just arrived from Dawn Tidd's blog. So lovely, right?!
I did manage to make 2 projects this time, which is a miracle if you knew what my life has been like lately 😂 I wanted to play with my alcohol markers, and this set is perfect to scratch that itch.
Look at all of that dimension! I love these scene building, stand up cards!
The fence is diecut from the Wood Textures DSP stack and glued behind one of the scene layers.
The sentiments are Silver heat embossed.
The best thing about this style of card? If folds flat for mailing!
ETA: for those interested in the construction of this card, I will be making a video showing how it is done in the next month or so. But in the meantime, there are written directions in this post: Stamp Review Crew: High Tide
Me second project is this sweet little tag. I confess, I used a tag die from my stash as I wanted something about 2½" wide.
The stripes are created with the Diagonal Stripes background stamp and Cherry Cobbler ink. And oops! I just realized that it is retired. Sorry, friends!
That is it for me! I am frantically preparing for our trip to Stampin' Up! convention in Orlando this week. My hubby and I are going to go on a cruise after convention, so this is a huge trip for us! I am sure many of you are going to be there also, and I can't wait to see you all!
Next up is Debra Burgin, a real master at the country charm!

What fun projects! Love that scene you created and the amazing pop-up card. Hope you get off to Orlando and can relax and enjoy OnStage and a cruise!!
You guys are really turning into "cruisers" (if that's what they would call it). Can't say I've ever been on one. I love the dimension on your folding card, particularly the sloping snow drifts. See you soon!!!
Nice post, Dear!
