This month is no different. We are featuring Picket Fence Studios this month, and for today and tomorrow, you can get a 20% discount on the Picket Fence website. LOVE that!
I decided to use some of the Boho line of stamps with coordinating dies. There are several small sets in this line, and they call to my free spirit side. This Boho Zebra
with coordinating Boho Zebra Die.
All of these are 5"x7" cards, so keep that in mind when looking at the image size. This is my go to card size now, since I am making cards for every birthday in my large department! There are about 6 birthdays a month, on average! Which means I need to leave plenty of space for everyone to sign the cards.
This sweet Boho Zebra was stamped and heat embossed, then colored with Copic markers and Wink of Stella in Gold, Silver, and Clear. The sentiment is from Boho Bull and is also stamped in Versafine Onyx Black and clear heat embossed.
The background is the Tribal Stripes background stamp from Hero Arts, heat embossed in White Satin Pearl.
I added an image inside using Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink, which pulls the whole thing together.
Here is another card with the zebra. I like it, but I love the first one.
This on uses one of the Beautiful Girls series of stamps and dies: Molly.
I colored this image with Copic markers and used the coordinating die to cut it out.
The sentiment is a combination of words from a couple of Concord and 9th sets.
My last card uses the Vortex of Fish set. I ink blended Cracked Pistachio and Lucky Clover Distress Inks for the background.
The Vortex is heat embossed with White Satin Pearl embossing powder. I do believe I am in love with that embossing powder, and this stamp!! I think the sentiment is from a My Monthly Hero kit from this summer.
OK, I also have to share the newest member of our family, Honey! We got her on January 11th, and this is her in our hotel room on the way back from picking her up. Yes, we drove 6 hours through -30 degree weather to pick up this adorable $50 dog. She was 10 weeks old in this picture. She is for sure Australian Shepherd and Husky. They think the dad was Springer Spaniel and Cocker Spaniel. Her momma was a rescue who had 10 puppies, and Honey was the last to get a home. And she is definitely a Honey!
So, tell me which one of the cards you liked best in the comments below!
Now it is time to head off to the next stop in the hop. A lot of these ladies are at Creativation right now, and maybe I will join them there next year.
