Ghoulish Pop Ups, in Slimline!

Happy Halloween, everybody!! Have you been having fun making spooky creations? I know, I could keep making them. And why should they have to be just for Halloween?

I have two fun cards to show you, and they are both in this video!

OK, don't shoot me, but both of these cards are featuring Limited Edition Box sets from Kindred Stamps. This is just proof that my FOMO with these boxes is justified. So there!

These characters are from the Booyah Box, which came out in October last year. This was their first inking! They are all Copic colored and fussy cut.

The slimline box/pop up card was created using dies from ScrappyTails.com . I had to get them! Then, about a week after I got the dies in tthe mail, Trinity Stamps released their Wide Box Die set. Options, peeps!

I did use the extremely popular Slimline Boos stamp set from Trinity on both of these cards. Check out that video for all the nitty gritty details!

One of the great things about this size card is the amount of real estate you get to fill with elements! I was able to get 8 people, loads of little ghosts, and 2 large creatures in here!

I snuck some older Spellbinders Small Die of the Month stuff in here also :)

So, if you keep your elements within the confines of the box, then this will fit in a slimline envelope that will fit a 4"x9" card. I was a bit exuberant with my elements, so I ended up using my Envelope Punch Board (still one of the work horses of my craft room) to create a 6"x9.5" envelope.

The Wide Box die from Trinity (which I now own also-it arrived last night!) will fit in the Slimline envelope that you can create with the Trinity Stamp Slimline Envelope die set! I love the finished look you get with that die set.

This one features the Teen Detective set, Peace and Love set (van), and more elements from that Spellbinders Small Die of the Month kit. I knew I had a die set with the perfect ghosts for these cards, but I did not find it until I had already assembled the Booyah card. But this card got to benefit from that find!

I used some thin strips of acetate to get the bats flying in the air. It is amazing how well that works!

I did use Pearlescent cardstock for the ghosts and all of the black die cuts. It is such a great weight, adn looks amazing!

Do you see the black cat in there? I love that there are things to "find" in this style of card!

One last close up, including the sentiment from Slimline Boos. These were so much fun to create! I love a good interactive card.

I hope to have some projects using some ideas I have with the Trinity Wide Box die set soon!

Until next time, have a Spooky and Thrill Filled Night!! Did you know there is a Blue Moon tonight! 😮
