It's a new year, and we are still feeling the Christmas spirit! I had to bust out the Simon Says Stamp January 2021 Card Kit as soon as it arrived, and Christmas cards were the natural result.
And today marks the beginning of a fresh new year for the Crafty Christmas Club! We are going to continue to get together on the 25th of each month to bring you some Christmas inspiration on blogs, Instagram, and YouTube. Check the bottom of this post for links to all the fun!
I am working really hard to build my YouTube channel, and to that end, I have created another video! Please check it out, and subscribe if you haven't already. The video shows all the details of how these cards were created.
I did some embossing on the shimmer cardstock and the patterned paper, which is a nice heavy cover weight, and then distressed the patterned paper with a sanding block.
The sentiment is silver heat embossed, and the snow flake is diecut from the silver metallic cardstock from the kit.
Inside, silver ombre snowflakes are stamped with a Hero Arts Vintage Ombre ink pad called Metallic Steel.
This is a second card with just a couple changes. The sentiment is heat embossed with the December Brutus Monroe embossing powder of the month called Blizzard. It is a beautiful mix of royal blue and silver.
This one has a purple theme, and I used some Purple Rain Mirror Cardstock From Tonic Studios.
Inside the purple cards, I used the border snowflake stamp with a shimmery ink called Sparkle Versamark. So pretty and subtle on white cardstock!
That is it for me, I hope my projects inspired you to get a headstart on your Christmas cards!
The rest of the blog roll is at the end of this post, so don't forget to check it out.
