Briefcase Accordian File

I got the idea for this adorable little accordian file from Terri Gaines, it was posted here on Linda's blog. As soon as I saw this idea, I had to make one...really! I made this right away! I love it :) I used A2 envelopes, which fit just right inside after sealing them and cutting off approx 1/8" from the top. But first I used the Log Cabin Smooch Spritz to color the chipboard and decorated it with DSP, cardstock, ribbon, etc.... I took it to work in the morning filled with cards to sell, and I sold a bunch of cards! I also got an order for a custom little accordian file for a 3 year for her dad to pictures in, and a chipboard frame to hold an 8x10 of a baby boy! Not quite sure how I will make the picture frame... I am hoping I have some chipboard from packaging of stencils that I can use. Anyway....as you can see, I still love my Signo white gel pen, lol! And I used a couple of colors that are not available until July 1st (new goodies, yippee!)
  • Paper: Island Oasis designer series paper, Tangerine Tango (returning In-color), Early Espresso (new color)
  • Other: Flower Fusion felt flowers, Fire Circle rhinestone brads, Log Cabin Smooch Spritz, Scallop edge and Scallop Trim border punches, Crop-A-Dile, Signo white gel pen, Old Olive polytwill ribbon (retired), Sticky Strip

Here is a picture of it open. It's a great way to display my cards too!

And a closed front view. This picture really caught the shimmer of the Log Cabin Spritz!  Now, hurry over to my demo site and buy some of these awesome On Board Briefcase Books ( #118766 $4.95- 8 chipboard pages) !

ETA: I adhered the envelopes with 3 strips of Sticky strip in the center of one side of each envelope,  then to each other. The first and last envelopes were also adhered with 3 strips of Sticky strip to the chipboard.

Just darling. So, I'm curious how you adhered your envelopes to the inside? Could you share the directions please? TIA Jan
