What to Make When You Hibernate: It's All About the P's

Welcome back to another round of What to Make When you Hibernate! This time we are featuring Pi Day and St. Patrick's Day. I have a son the was born on March 14th, so he has adopted a tradition of having pie on his birthday. Yes, we are a bit geeky. Before that, he associated his birthday with St. Patrick's Day, and before he knew  anything about St. Patrick's Day, his favorite color was green. So yes. I am totally thinking about my son right now!

However, I  was thinking of my friend Jenny Hall, and her affinity for all  things llama when I  made this card. The stamp set is from  Simon Says  Stamp, and is called Wooly Lucky. It is  still available, even though I got it in a card kit last year!

I recently got a spit of Daniel Smith watercolors with 42 colors. I now have 2 splits, with a total of 65 colors. And I have been playing with them a lot. Then I watched a video of Debbie Hughes making a plaid background, and was reminded of how easy it is to do. And perfect for a St. Patty's Day theme! Even the matted panel is watercolored to match the plaid.

It still needed a little something extra, so I pulled out some Nuvo Crystal drops, and this green was perfect.

And just so happens to be Glow in the Dark, lol!!

I ran out of time to come up with something Pi themed, although I had some sets to use in mind. I am loving shopping my stash lately!

Don't miss the rest of the stops, there are lots of great projects to see! Leave some love along the way.
