And I adore this stamp set! Succulents are so popular right now, but I have loved them for a long, long time. They are pretty easy care, and lush and diverse in their form. I can't wait to share some fabulous projects with you 😁
For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want! And you can click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also.
If you are following along in order, then you have just arrived from the scintillating Sue Plote's blog,
with her simply gorgeous style!
I know there is not much stamping on these projects, but with this amazing DSP, you really don't need much.
So I discovered that the dies make awesome vellum flowers, and they are sooo pretty! And I just grabbed one of the DSP sheets, it did not even matter cuz they are all awesome! The Seaside embossing folder goes really well with the Swirly waves die here, don't you think?
The dies also make quick and easy work of masking. This is the inside of the card. Some Tip Top Taupe, Sweet Sugar Plum, and Mint Macaron succulents to match the DSP on the front.
Now, I must be the last demo on the planet to get the Curvy Keepsakes die. Seriously, why did I wait so long?!!! I love this thing! It is so easy to use, and so darn cute!
I had just a little piece of this DSP that I could not bear to throw away, so tag time!! I cut the Succulent Garden ribbon into 3 strips, added a couple tails of Thick White Bakers Twine and stitched those to the top of the tag, then added the vellum flower with a dimensional.
That's all for this hop. Come back again soon for more projects!
Are you ready to hop to the next stop? Off to Tasmania and the incredibly creative Bronwyn Eastley!
