Colorful Seasons: Stampin' Up Artisan Blog Hop

Hey friends! Glad to see you back for another Artisan blog hop!
We are a group of 20 Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the globe, handpicked by Stampin' Up! to bring you inspiration and projects with the latest and greatest supplies.
This time we are featuring the Colorful Seasons stamp set, which is part of the gorgeous Color Theory Suite.

If you are hopping through the blog roll in order, then you just arrived from the talented Sylwia Schreck from Germany. She always delights me with her beautiful style :)

Colorful Seasons stamp set by Stampin Up with sponging and spritzing, what an awesome combination! The Seasonaly Layers thinlits and Stitched Shapes dies help bring these to life.
I have a confession to make. I have to buy every single leaf stamp set that Stampin' Up! makes. It is a compulsion, or an obsession... but I love leaves! And snowflakes.... So this set was coming home with me no matter what! 😎 Let's add my love of Lemon Lime Twist and Emerald Envy, and Copper embossing powder and watercolor paper. We pretty much sum up this card!

I actually used just the 2 greens to do the card, sponging the Emerald Envy on the bottom and the Lemon Lime Twist on the top, then overlapping in the center. And spritz! Magic happens. Dry with a heat tool, add some water spatters. Dry again. Stamp the leaves in the same colors.

Then I went a little crazy. It happens. Frequently, my family and friends tell me 😋 I just kept trying color combos, sponging and spritzing my little heart out! Here are the color combos I tried. The birthday sentiment is from Butterfly Basics, by the way.

I made two of each color combo even! One with heavier sponging and one with lighter. I am telling you, I had so much fun! I started adding some die cuts from coordinating Seasonal Layers thinlits, and they really added a pop. The little colored leaves are actually cut out of the panels behind the sentiment pieces 😊 The sentiments on these are from All Things Thanks, another wonderful set.

Inside got more leaves and the black sentiment. Simple and pretty, I hope 😍

OK, that is all from me! And if you started at the beginning of the blog roll, then I am the last stop. I hope you found loads of inspiration. If you started somewhere in the middle, don't miss out on the rest of this awesome hop! Allison is the first stop, and is sure to amaze you! Oh, and there is a supply list at the bottom of this post.

Stamp Review Crew: Seaside Shore

http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2017/07/seaside-shore.html
Welcome Stampers! It is the middle of July, and for us in the northern hemisphere, it is the middle of the summer. That means lots of beach time for us! Those in the southern hemisphere may have to settle for dreaming of beach time. And what better way then to stamp some ocean themed projects?! We are featuring Seaside Shore this time.

For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want! And you can click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also.

If you are hopping along in order, I am the first stop on the hop! If you started somewhere in the middle, then you just arrived from Adriana Benitez's blog. Welcome back Adriana! We are excited to see you hopping with us again :)

Seaside Shore and Marbled stamps from Stampin Up were used to create this bright and bold card. Need a demonstrator? You can find me by clicking on this photo!

Now this is a very colorful card! I was playing with this idea to create all sorts of colorful fish without having to carefully color all of them. I decided to take some watercolor paper and lay down a wash of Pool Party and dry it. Then add splotched of roughly fish sized and shaped color with an Aqua-painter. Dried that with the heat tool too. Then stamped with Marbled background stamp with Pool Party ink. And finally, stamped the fish in Archival Black.
I have also discovered that the Fine-Tip Glue Pen does a mighty fine job of attaching vellum to cardstock. 😁

I added some colorful fish to the inside also.

When I think masculine and sea, I think fisherman's sweater. So the Cable Knit embossing folder, Wood Textures DSP, and Seaside Shore stamps from Stampin Up got to play together on this masculine card! Do you need a demonstrator? Find me by clicking on this photo!

Next I wanted to use the anchor stamp with the Cable Knit embossing folder and Wood Textures DSP. I think they make a lovely masculine card!

The ghosting technique is used here to create an ombre effect for the fishie friends. There is a video link in the post with this card. Seaside Shore and Just Add Text stamps sets from Stampin Up played well together here, don't you think? Colos used: Soft Sky, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay. Do you need a demonstrator? Find me by clicking on this photo!

Since I have been thoroughly enjoying the ghosting technique, I gave it a go here with a similar layout to the first card. The sentiment is from Just Add Text.

I threw in some bubbles on the inside of this one!

OK, that's it for me! It is time to go check out what Juana Ambida has created! I am humbled by her talent every single time!
