Stamp Review Crew Bonus Hop: Carols of Christmas

Yeah! The Stamp Review Crew is sneaking in an extra blog hop, with a special release bundle That is available for demonstrators AND customers, right now. It is going to be in the Holiday Mini, and it is so fun to use!

For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want! And you can click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also.

If you are following along in order, then you have arrived from Twila Davis' blog where she is sure to have done some masterful stamping!

Carols of Christmas from Stampin' Up! makes getting your Christmas cards done easy! So many great ways to use it.
How about an Emerald Envy watercolor wash and some Copper heat embossing. Then throw on some Christmas bulbs. Voila! Card #1 done!

Card #2 has Berry Burst and Emerald Envy ornaments stamped on vellum then Clear heart embossed. Some Pine Planks embossing on the Crumb Cake panel, and Holly embossing on the Emerald Envy banner. Selective inking on the Deck the Halls stamp. Another one done!

Card # 3 is a little more fussy. I die cut the poinsettias out of the watercolor panel, then embossed with Pine Planks folder. I backed the panel with a piece of the smooth ombre pattern from Color Theory in Old Olive. Then I Gold heat embossed the sentiment on Cherry Cobbler cardstock and cut it out with the largest stitched circle. And I stamped the poinsettias in Cherry Cobbler on scraps of watercolor paper, and cut those out with the poinsettia corners die. Stamped the leaves in Old Olive on the Pine Planks panel, and adhered the poinsettias and the circle with the Mini Dimensionals.

What do you think? Do you need this set yet? Here is a bunch of stuff I did with it earlier:

Colorful Seasons: Stampin' Up Artisan Blog Hop

Hey friends! Glad to see you back for another Artisan blog hop!
We are a group of 20 Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the globe, handpicked by Stampin' Up! to bring you inspiration and projects with the latest and greatest supplies.
This time we are featuring the Colorful Seasons stamp set, which is part of the gorgeous Color Theory Suite.

If you are hopping through the blog roll in order, then you just arrived from the talented Sylwia Schreck from Germany. She always delights me with her beautiful style :)

Colorful Seasons stamp set by Stampin Up with sponging and spritzing, what an awesome combination! The Seasonaly Layers thinlits and Stitched Shapes dies help bring these to life.
I have a confession to make. I have to buy every single leaf stamp set that Stampin' Up! makes. It is a compulsion, or an obsession... but I love leaves! And snowflakes.... So this set was coming home with me no matter what! 😎 Let's add my love of Lemon Lime Twist and Emerald Envy, and Copper embossing powder and watercolor paper. We pretty much sum up this card!

I actually used just the 2 greens to do the card, sponging the Emerald Envy on the bottom and the Lemon Lime Twist on the top, then overlapping in the center. And spritz! Magic happens. Dry with a heat tool, add some water spatters. Dry again. Stamp the leaves in the same colors.

Then I went a little crazy. It happens. Frequently, my family and friends tell me 😋 I just kept trying color combos, sponging and spritzing my little heart out! Here are the color combos I tried. The birthday sentiment is from Butterfly Basics, by the way.

I made two of each color combo even! One with heavier sponging and one with lighter. I am telling you, I had so much fun! I started adding some die cuts from coordinating Seasonal Layers thinlits, and they really added a pop. The little colored leaves are actually cut out of the panels behind the sentiment pieces 😊 The sentiments on these are from All Things Thanks, another wonderful set.

Inside got more leaves and the black sentiment. Simple and pretty, I hope 😍

And by popular demand, I created a video showing how I made these cards. With three more color combos!

OK, that is all from me! And if you started at the beginning of the blog roll, then I am the last stop. I hope you found loads of inspiration. If you started somewhere in the middle, don't miss out on the rest of this awesome hop! Allison is the first stop, and is sure to amaze you! Oh, and there is a supply list at the bottom of this post.
