David's Birthday Card

Today is my oldest son's 21st birthday! Wow, I feel old again, lol! I was inspired to make this card from Brandi's creation. She does some amazing work, I love Brandi! Hers is purtier, but this works for me today :) It is a fairly simple card and sometimes less is more. I wanted to have a nice dinner today, but we will wait until tomorrow when the hubby is home too. Instead, I am about to run to town and pick up something quick and yummy ;) David is easy to please, and he is going to go out for the inaugural beer with Dad tonight when Dad gets home from work. Don't worry, they will each only have 1 beer, no sloppy drunkenness allowed!

Ok, on with the recipe!
  • Stamps: Broadsheet Alphabet, Teeny Tiny Wishes, Crazy for Cupcakes, Party Hearty
  • Paper: Naturals Ivory, Marina Mist, Peach Parfait
  • Ink: Marina Mist, Peach Parfait, Soft Suede, Early Espresso
  • Other: Wide Oval punch, Large Oval punch, Scallop Oval punch, Stampin' Dimensionals

And this is the inside of the card. I used markers to ink the party hats stamp from Party Hearty to create the pennant banner and I used the Aqua painter to color the balloons. I really like how this turned out. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID!
