Happy New Year! Time to take a moment and see if I have reached any of my goals and see if I need to set some new ones. Last year I lost some of my crafting momentum with all of the changes and challenges of work and family, so I did not do as much blogging as I intended. This year, I want to hit it again like I did in 2011!
I am also going to start a new program here on my blog. A virtual stamp club! I will put together a set of projects and write a pdf tutorial each month, and everyone that orders a minimum of $35 worth of product will get a copy emailed to them. I will have the first one ready by January 5th, and will have a new one available on the first of each month. These tutorials will only be available to those who order in that month, though. More on this program later! And I will create a page for these tutorials in a bit :)
I have never made a New Year's card before, and I am not sure why! They are mighty fun, and you can send these to all of those people who you missed on your Christmas card list ;) Mine will be accompanied by family pictures since I was not able to get all of my family together until the holidays.
I did make 2 versions of this card, using a couple of die cuts that were laying on my desk just waiting to be used....
Supplies for both versions:
- Stamps: New Year's
- Ink: Illuminate
- Paper: Core'dinations Gumball Green, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Silver Glimmer paper
- Other: Big Shot with Apothecary Accents and Oval framelits, Lacey Brocade and Honeycomb embossing folders, sanding block, Signo white gel pen, paper piercer and Essentials PPP, Little Labels punch pack, Silver mini brads, 1" Square punch, dimensionals, Embossing Buddy, Heat Gun, Gumball Green and Pewter embossing powders.
I will be posting more on the new virtual stamp club in the next day or so! Please leave any suggestions or requests in the comments, which I read as soon as you post. I love getting comments :)
