For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want! And you can click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also.
If you are hopping along in order, I am the first stop on the hop! If you started somewhere in the middle, then you just arrived from Adriana Benitez's blog. Welcome back Adriana! We are excited to see you hopping with us again :)
Now this is a very colorful card! I was playing with this idea to create all sorts of colorful fish without having to carefully color all of them. I decided to take some watercolor paper and lay down a wash of Pool Party and dry it. Then add splotched of roughly fish sized and shaped color with an Aqua-painter. Dried that with the heat tool too. Then stamped with Marbled background stamp with Pool Party ink. And finally, stamped the fish in Archival Black.
I have also discovered that the Fine-Tip Glue Pen does a mighty fine job of attaching vellum to cardstock. 😁
I added some colorful fish to the inside also.
Next I wanted to use the anchor stamp with the Cable Knit embossing folder and Wood Textures DSP. I think they make a lovely masculine card!
Since I have been thoroughly enjoying the ghosting technique, I gave it a go here with a similar layout to the first card. The sentiment is from Just Add Text.
I threw in some bubbles on the inside of this one!
OK, that's it for me! It is time to go check out what Juana Ambida has created! I am humbled by her talent every single time!

Oh I love your work! Who would have thought to use the cable knit folder?!?!? Looks fabulous! And I love all the colorful fish!
Wow! Three gorgeous cards. Love the versatility and techniques as well the colour range. The cable knit embossed panel looks amazing! :)
Three great cards in classic Tanya style. Love, love, love!!! Kelly x
Those colorful fish are so cute, but I am really WOW'd by the combo of the wood grain, knit sweater, and the anchor. That card just sings! The ombre card, inside and out, is a real eye-catcher too!
Who thinks cable knit sweater when it's Summer other than you??? I just love your projects but the sweater card is definitely a winner!
So many great ideas in here. My favorite is definitely the sweater - I would have never thought of using that but it looks awesome! (And Thank you for welcoming me back. This is a joy!)
As always, Tanya, your creations are clean, fun and fabulous! Like everyone else, I would have never thought to use the cable knit folder, yet you have created a card which is my favorite of the three! Great job!
