Do you love a good card kit but struggle to create with it when it arrives? Well, let's play with a kit from last October. You may even already have this kit. If you don't, it is still available!
I used the Spellbinders Card Kit of the Month for October 2019: Sparkling Holidays. Here it is, in all of it's glory. It comes with all of this goodness, including 10 envelopes and card bases.
I did make a video showing how I created 6 of the 25 cards I ended up making in 1 day with this kit!
This is the first card I made. Some baubles and a die cut sentiment.
I adore the mirror cardstock that comes in every single one of the card kits. It is luscious, and is metallic on both sides!
This is a little stepped up version of this card. I added a Picot Petite Rectangle die cut and some Glimmer Foil on the patterned paper.
Can you see the foiled dots here? There is a lot going on here, lol.
Next we have a festive birthday card for those birthdays that are in the month of December. Maybe someone that loves the Nutcracker or theater.
The details on these ephemera pieces is delightful! The glittery details add a bit of dimension without any bulk. The greenery and flowers are created using the dies in the kit.
I used the same elements in a slightly different layout for this card.
Those little colored rhinestones are quite perfect for this kit! And did you notice that the flowers on the packages. match the flowers on the patterned paper?
This one incorporates the stamps in the kit with some White Satin Pearl embossing on the background.
There is never too much sparkle on a holiday card, I always say!
This is the last of this bunch, again using the same ephemera with a slightly different layout.
Are you feeling inspired to play with this kit? I sure hope so! When I got to planning these cards, I really found it easy to come up with lots of ideas. And even after creating 25 cards, I still have at least half of the pattern paper, some of the cardstock and mirror card, and some of the gems left. Plus all of the stickers and a handful of ephemera! The dies and stamps are forever.
