I had to play with the new masks from the annual catalog, and these greens seemed to want to come out and play! I used Pistachio Pudding, Cucumber Crush, and Emerald Envy. They do make quite a lovely Ombre effect, and it only took me a couple of minutes to do! That includes the time it took to tape the paper and the mask down :) I used sponges to apply the color.
For the sentiment, I stamped it in Versamark on a piece of vellum, then sprinkled the Copper embossing powder on the words and berries, tapped off the excess, then sprinkled on the Emerald Envy Glitter embossing powder. There was a little mixing on the branches, but it is gorgeous!
Inside got a little sponging too. I love to carry some element of the card front to the inside of the card. It makes the card feel more finished and well thought out.
Of course, I stitched the vellum layer to a smaller circle and and pulled the tails to the back. Then I added some Burlap and Emerald Envy ribbon with some Copper thread behind the circle elements. I did secure the ribbons to the sponged panel with staples. To quick and easy! Then some dimensionals behind the circles, tacked the Copper thread to the dimensionals, then stuck that all to the card front. I resisted the urge to add more dimension to the back of the sponged panel and just adhered that straight to the white card base.
