Stamp Review Crew: Foxy Friends Edition

http://stampreviewcrew.blogspot.com/2016/09/stamp-review-crew-foxy-friends-edition.html
Welcome to September! In the US, this is Labor Day weekend, kind of the last hoorah of summer, with everybody trying to cram one more visit to the lake or camping and fishing. Well, the Stamp Review Crew is going back to the woods too! We are featuring the adorable set, Foxy Friends.

For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for that set! The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want! And you can click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also.

If you are following along in order, you just arrived from the super sweet and talented Kelly Kent's blog!

I have just one card to share this time, as I am such a procrastinator when it comes to my crafting! And I hope that some of you enjoy it. I kind of like it, but feel there is not much special about it.
I was really wishing for a little acorn to put in this fella's hands! I see squirrel when I look at this, and I hope you do too :)
I used some simple masking, sponging, and spatters of water to create this watercolor panel. The squirrel is stamped repeatedly in Archival Basic Gray. No, I do not have a MISTI, and I did not use a Stamp-a-ma-jig, but the photopolymer stamps are so easy to see through, this was very easy to just eyeball!

I did pop this up on coasters again, and I have not done anything on this inside of it yet.

That is all I have, so now it is time to hop on over to Nikki Spencer's blog, I can't wait to see what she has created this time!

Fun critter, Tanya! He does look like those evil squirrels who eat my birdseed. I think they smile too. :) Your background is perfectly colored and really sets of the squirrel. He does look so cute holding that sentiment!
