Stamp Review Crew: Timeless Textures Edition

Welcome to another Stamp Review Crew blog hop! We are well into the month of September, which is a very transitional month everywhere, I think. I love the autumn weather, finally getting to wear flannel shirts and sweaters again. I love flannels and sweaters! And I think this stamp set, Timeless Textures, is going to be like a comfy sweater that you want to keep in your stamping closet for regular use!

For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. I was playing around with the flourish-y plant-like image in this set and ended up making a stamped, then sponged Ombre background with a bit of a Damask look to it. I never have enough sympathy cards, so that is where I went with this, and the strip of vellum allows some of the background to show through.

Inside got a lighter hand with the sponging and stamping, all just in the lower right corner.
This would make a great card for just about any occasion, and in several colors.
