OK, who doesn't love a spinner card?! They are so fun! And the Sliding Star framelits are retiring, so get them quick. They really make this card easy to create.
Since the sentiments are photopolymer, I was able to curve them on the acrylic block to stamp them in the spinner channel.
To line up the words in the channel, I die cut the spinner circle, then laid the outer part down on the card base and traced with a pencil, then laid the center part on the card base and traced that also. To help with placement, you can take the negative from the spinner channel and lay that down lined up with the traced mark and trace inside that.
Then just stamp the sentiment inside the channel.
The watercolored background pieces are all adhered to the card front with the Foam Adhesive strips so there is enough room for the spinner action.
The Foam Adhesive Strips make a nice deep channel for a smooth spinner card. Love them, so glad they are staying!
I use the smallest circle die from the Layering Circles framelits, and the ½" circle punch to create the sandwich behind the mermaid image and cut the 2 framelit circles out of coaster board, and the punch out of Thick Whisper White (4 little circles glued together)
And how about that sweet little mermaid? Have you seen enough of her yet? No? Me either! I hope to see loads of mermaid projects after everybody else gets their hands on these stamps.
