Happy Birthday Gorgeous: Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Hello again! It is time for another Artisan Design Team blog hop. This time we are featuring the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set. By the time you are done hopping through all 20 Team members' projects, you should be ready to complete loads of your own projects  😉

If you are hopping along in order, then you have just arrived from the lovely Sylwia Schreck's blog. I know, it was really hard to leave her creativity! Hopefully I will share something that you enjoy too!

The Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set is in the Foil Frenzy Suite, and there is a fabulous single thinlit in this suite. That giant Happy Birthday! I think it is in my top 5 dies right now 😎

The Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set from Stampin' Up!- now that is versatility! Watercolor, embossing, foil designer series paper, dies! Tanya Boser for the Artisan Design Team
This set has a lot of different images, and some lovely sentiments. I had a blast making a pile of cards with this set 😊

Geometric, repetitive stamping in Lemon Lime Twist, and the fabulous Foil Frenzy designer series paper really make this birthday card special! Stampin' Up has really put together a wonderful suite with the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set and the Happy Birthday thinlit. Tanya Boser for the Artisan Design TeamHere the banner image stamped was repeatedly on the Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and stitched on some of the fabulous Foil Frenzy DSP (this paper is in the suite). Add some sentiments and all done! I have already given this card to someone 😀

Inside has a little more stamping. I love the geometric look of this one.

Then I did some emboss resist on watercolor paper with gold flowers and leafy stems. I sponged then spritzed Calypso Coral, Peekaboo Peach, and Powder Pink. I added extra Calypso Coral to the flowers with an Aqua-painter.

Close up anyone?

Look at that lovely floral cluster! Soft Suede, Peekaboo Peach, and Calypso Coral were used here. I used an Aqua-painter to color the flowers and leaves, but had wiped most of the water off before starting. Since I was using Thick Whisper White cardstock, it was able to take a little water.

How about some balloons? These were stamped on vellum in Lemon Lime Twist, Pumpkin Pie, and Rich Razzleberry, then Clear heat embossed. I attached the vellum with stitching. Of course! 😏

Balloons and greetings inside!

Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set- watercolor puddles with the sentiments floating in them, and the Wink of Stella jazzed up Happy Birthday die! Tanya Boser for the Artisan Design Team
Last up is this watercolored background with the sentiments stamped in the same colors over the watercolor washes. I created the Happy Birthday shadow with vellum and just offset it from the Peekaboo Peach Happy Birthday.
I used Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, and Daffodil Delight this time.

That is all I have for you today. I had intended to make a video about one of these cards... but time slipped away from me. But if you leave comments below telling me which one you would like to see a video of, I can do it!

Well, if you started with Allison, then you have reached the end of the hop. If you started somewhere in the middle, then you still have some hopping to do! Allison is the first stop, and always has something amazing to share.

All your cards are just so darn clever, but the Lemon Lime Twist card in particular, stole my heart! Love the repeat stamping of the banner. Such a nice background accent I wouldn't have thought of to use like that!

Love your colour choices Tanya. I just reinvested in a little sewing machine (my last one broke ...much sadness.) I love a card with that extra textural appeal x
