Stamping Sunday Blog Hop - Embossing Paste

Wow, I sure am hopping a lot this week! Blog hopping that is 😁 Sara Levin invited me to be a Guest Blogger on the Stamping Sunday hop this week. What an honor! And we are featuring Embossing Paste this time. That made me very excited, because that is right up my alley! I love embossing paste, and have almost used up an entire jar already 😂

My first go at Embossing Paste for this hop was this collection of cards I used for a swap. I used several different wood grains from the Wood Textures DSP stack. I love them ALL!💖

Here is the very first one I made.

Who doesn't love a video?! I hope this video is helpful for you. I am showing how easy it is to use the Embossing Paste on patterned paper.

Gilded Embossing Paste! Using the Pattern Party masks, embossing paste, and gold embossing powder on Color Theory designer series paper by Stampin' Up! -Tanya Boser, Stampin' Up! demonstrator. tinkerin-in-ink.blogspot.com
My second project takes this a step farther. I call this Gilded Embossing Paste. You just sprinkle on some embossing powder after you remove the mask. Let the paste dry for 15 minutes or so, then set the embossing powder with the Heat Tool. This time I used the Color Theory DSP stack.

That's it for me! I have added a clickable list for anyone in the US to go shopping with me. And the blog roll is here so you can continue on the hop!

Gorgeous cards, Tanya! I would never have thought to put the clouds on the wood paper -- stunning! And I love your gilded embossing. I tried it, and it did *not* turn out well -- I'm going to try letting it dry for 15 minutes before heating it.
