Today is a pretty big day. It is the first day of the 2017-18 Annual Catalog! And the we have another Artisan Design Team blog hop for you πThere will be oodles of ideas using new stuff from the catalog, so get ready to add to your wish list!
If you are following along in order, then you just arrived from the lovely Sylwia Schreck's blog. Stunning, right?! She has such a clean and pure style!
The first things I had to play with when I got my box of goodies were the masks and the texture paste! I am in love. I know that you can mix the texture paste with reinkers, but I don't always want to take the time to mess with that. So for this project, I applied the paste through a mask. Then before removing the mask, I used some Lemon Lime Twist diluted a bit in water to spritz color on top of the paste. Wunderbar! And the paste was dry within 10 minutes. Sa-weet!
Here is a video showing how I created this card.
Look at the crisp shapes, and the added dimension. It makes you want to touch and feel the card.
I got a bit carried away with the masks, and the Just Add Text stamp set! These were very fun to create also. I had originally planned to space the posting of these projects out, but I just couldn't. ππ Too excited to share these!
Close up of the details on the sentiment. I colored it with Stampin' Write markers.
Yellows to greens to blues, this is such a vibrant palette! Do you love it? Or does it make you cringe?
With all of that vibrant color, black stamping heat embossed with Clear embossing powder seemed the best way to go.
I did make one more duo of cards that day, but I will save that for a post next Thursday. I am going to try to post a new video every Thursday. Be sure to come back again to check them out!
As always, I am the last stop on the Artisan Design Team blog hop (alphabetical by first name, if you haven't caught that yet π). So, if you started somewhere in the middle, you really must continue on to Allison's blog! She certainly will knock you socks off with her creative mojo!

WOW Tanya! The cards are great! I look forward to the paste ;)
Your bright, beautiful watercolours always make my heart skip a beat. Just lovely! And you're right, I totally want to feel up that first card! :) XOXO
Great idea! I love easy and time saving ;-)
I love to use embossing paste as well. Normally, I color my paste with a few drops of re-inker. But what a clever idea to use the spritzer for that! I will try that!
Tanya, You never cease to amaze me. All these years ,I've been wasting embossing paste .and I could've just been putting the ink on , by spritzing it ! Brilliant . What happens if you put the embossing paste on white let it dry .And then sponge over ,it does it act like a resist ? .. I have a bigger order list .. Thank you !
You are da master ! Your biggest fan ,Anne

I love the projects you shared today! I love that you share so many new techniques! I never thought of adding color to the texture paste by spritzing! Brilliant! I can't wait to get my hands on the new stencils.
