More Eastern Palace Bundle: Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

Stampin' Up! has done an early release of this suite in TWO fantastic bundles! And yes, customers can order them also! How awesome is that?! The bundles are the Eastern Palace Starter Bundle, with a few of the products (including some of the new In-Colors), and the Eastern Palace Premiere Bundle that has it all. You want this :)
So, I got to play with the Eastern Palace Suite again!! I love the dies in this suite the most of all. I think they are a must-have from this upcoming catalog. And that I have just begun to see the possibilities with the rest of this suite.
The Artisan Design Team is taking another go at this suite, so grab a cuppa and hop around!

For this card, I decided to use the die cuts to create masks to sponge through. Actually, I just took the diecuts that I had created while just experimenting with the dies, and used them as masks 😉 I had to do something with them, lol!
  • First cut a panel of Whisper White to 4"x5¼".
  • Use Powder Pink, Tranquil Tide, and Fresh Fig ink to sponge through the masks you created.  Wipe the panel with the Embossing Buddy, and use a mask and sponge on some Versamark so you can add some Copper heat embossed images. Sweet!
  • Trim the panel to 3¾"x5". Save the trimmings to add to the inside of the card.
  • Stitch around the masked panel and adhere it to the Kraft card base.
  • Use the Stitched Shapes framelits to make a Vellum and a Kraft circle, then Copper heat emboss the sentiment. Layer those up and popped them on the sponged panel.

Line the card with a piece of Whisper White, and adhere a strip of the sponged design. Remember to save those trimmings for this step.

Oh, just look at the lovely shine and dimension the copper embossing gives to this card!

Then I made some little pocket cards. Use the Envelope Punch Board to create an envelope for a 3"x4" card, and seal it so the flap is on the short end. Don't fold that score line.. Then I cut a 3"x4¼" piece of Very Vanilla as the notecard insert. This would be perfect to tack a gift card to!

Those tassels are to die for! After I diecut the sentiment layers with the Eastern Medallion and Stitched Shapes dies, I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the inner parts of the Tranquil Tide layer, and tied the tassel on with some Gold thread.

Here is another one, reversing the pattern that is showing on the outside of the envelope.

I tried to get the shimmer on the DSP, which I added with the Clear Wink of Stella brush. I used my water refilled Wink, so it is more subtle.

Last up is this little Popcorn box that I diecut some windows through. Wouldn't this be adorable with some of those battery powered little tealight candles?! I am thinking centerpieces of wedding dinners and such. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the diecut areas. Not sure how I feel about that yet. What do you think?

Well, that is it! If you started with Allison, then this was the last stop of the hop. If you didn't start with Allison, keep clicking!! There is so much more to see!
