Christmas Cutie for Club

The club projects for this month are going  to be spanning several holidays! This is where my ADHD can be  bit of a problem! I want to do so many projects I don't know where to start...
I just realized that most of the sets the I just got are line images and call for coloring in. I usually avoid coloring, but there are so many cute ones! I am also not usually fond of cutsie stuff, but this set is adorable!

Here you can see the dimension on this card.I had to pop up the main image because of the Tinsel. This is some gorgeous stuff! Wouldn't it look great on a Christmas wreath? Uh-oh...another idea forming.... must finish working on all the blog posts for this week...no distractions allowed! Would you like the list of supplies now? Ok, here it is!
  • Stamps: Greeting Card Kids, Jolly Jingles jumbo wheel
  • Paper: Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Candy Cane DSP, Watercolor paper
  • Ink: Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Jet Black Stazon
  • Other: Big Shot with Tasteful Trim and Northern Frost dies, Signo white gel pen, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Stampin Dimensionals, Clear Tinsel, Crystal Effects, Dazzling Diamonds, Aqua-painters
I applied color to the image with markers then used the aqua-painters to blend the colors out, applying one color at a time and blending it, then using the heat gun to speed up the drying time. Then applied a little Crystal Effects to the scarf, hat, and mittens then sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds. Then I filled in the hair and shoes with a Basic Black marker. I couldn't do this before the coloring or the color would have run. I hope this isn't too detailed a project for 10 people to do on club night!
See everyone on Thursday!

This is adorable -- the tinsel is a great touch and the doodling around the card is perfect!
