Halloween Cutie

I just got this adorable set the other day and I am starting to like coloring. Like they say, practice does make perfect.  Do you like this color combo? I have been passing the Concord Crush up in favor of Rich Razzleberry so far, but I need to stop neglecting poor Concord Crush! And on top  of that, it is the perfect purple for the Vikings. Yes, I know, they are NOT doing well this year. But they are our team :)

I used the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder with Peach Parfait card stock and inked up the embossing with Peach Parfait. I also used my very first Glimmer brad on this card. I opened up the prongs and stuck a piece of the Crochet Trim in between them. Then I poked a hole in the card front with a paper piercer and pushed the brad through.

Inside I used the Autumn Harvest set pumpkins and more of the Tasteful Trims die cuts. Have I mentioned that I love that die? I really love that die! I used the aqua-painter with a combination of the Watercolor Wonder crayons and ink pads to color the image.
  • Stamps: Greeting Card Kids, Autumn Harvest
  • Paper: Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, Old Olive, Naturals White, Watercolor paper
  • Ink: Concord Crush, Peach Parfait, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Basic Gray, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight
  • Other: Big Shot with Tasteful Trim die and Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Corner Rounder punch, Signo white gel pen, Victoria crochet trim, Pumpkin Pie Glimmer brad, Aqua-painter, Stampin Dimensionals

So, is she a Halloween cutie? Now I need to decide who I will send her to! Maybe my Mom, she likes cuties :-)

This card is adorable, and I love all the details - the crocheted trim, and the embossing folder. Terrific! So glad you submitted this to Friday Mashup!
